“Passages / Home” is a moving showcase of six Central Valley artists in conversation with the landscape, stories, and travelers on our ‘art bus’. Part ritual, part facilitated dialogue, part creative offering, this art-guided bus tour will explore this often-misrepresented region of Califas (California) through art and collective experience.
featuring the creations of Valley artists: Rosita Arenas, Jefferson Beavers, Teresa Flores, Tracy Stuntz, Jackie Ryle, Soul Vang
Hosted by: The Triangle Lab, part of their #Califas Series & the Valley Storytellers Project

Many conceptual maps of California portray the Central Valley as a place to pass through or a place to leave. Taking up these (mis?)conceptions, Central Valley artists will create and share new, old, works-in-progress, and experimental offerings about passages in, through, to, beyond, from and around home in the Central Valley (whether or not home is a place, an idea, in the Central Valley, somewhere else, imagined, un/wanted, destroyed, etc.). Each artist will share prepared individual work(s) and engage in a playful and generative dialogue with each other and all guests. The hope of this event is to lift up diverse voices and stories of artists in the Central Valley in the context of California on an intimate and memorable arts journey through the Valley. This will be a really special event, not to be missed.
